I first want to thank everyone for your unwavering support during these trying times. We all have questions regarding how things will progress over the upcoming weeks and months, rest assured we are in it together as an ECMAI family. We have successfully navigated our first week together with online virtual/remote classes. I am so proud of all my students for your hard work and engagement in our classes! I am currently building out a library of instructional videos that will be available through our YouTube platform that will include forms and other major testing requirements. I will continue to put out daily Facebook live classes as I feel that is the easiest way for me to rapidly get the content into your homes. I am exploring options and logistics for remote testings for stripes and rank advancement provided the situation does not rapidly improve.
I have a few quick announcements regarding our schedule and freezes. Our yearly calendar has a month off in total built into the schedule and monthly tuition payments. With our two week summer and our two week winter breaks. I am canceling our two week summer break effective immediately. If our remote learning goes past March 30th I will also cancel our two week winter break. If we are still remote learning beyond April 13, 2020 I will be adjusting or freeze policy at that time. Over 80% of our students are on no freeze agreements. I will treat all of our students and families fairly and work with you all during these trying times and make appropriate accommodations. Additionally I will recognize and take care of all families who stick by and help support my small business in this critical time. I will have more details and information regarding all of this in the weeks ahead.
